Accountable. Responsible. Mature. Equipped. Disciplined.

A.R.M.E.D. is a church that has "un-sit-downable" Spirit-infused praise and worship, and an approachable Pastor whose dynamic and honest delivery of the Word of God encourages members and regular attendees to live holy. With five words used to shape the ministry, We receive Bible College-level teaching that is inductive and brought to us in a clear and logical style. We are a  refuge of God’s servants who invite you to develop a personal relationship with Him and to serve with us.

Excitement remains high as God blesses through His Word, adds souls to His Kingdom, and the manifestation of visions coming to pass are seen.

What We Believe...

The Bible

The Scriptures, the original manuscripts of the Old Testament and New Testaments of the Bible, are the divine inspired Word of God, given through people and are the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. The Scriptures we possess today are the sufficient rule of faith and practice and the divine final authority for truth and salvation. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21)

God

There is one true and living God, maker of all creation; the all-knowing, all-powerful, everywhere-present, eternal Father; the source of all goodness, truth, and love; who has manifested himself in His Son, Jesus Christ, for the purpose of redemption and as the Holy Ghost for the purpose of intervening in the lives of people.  (Deuteronomy 6:4; II Corinthians 13:14; I Timothy. 1:17; 3:16; 6:13-16)

Jesus

The gospel of Jesus Christ declares Him to be the only begotten Son of God, who was born of a virgin and who lived to show us the words and works of God.  As the Savior, He was crucified and died on the cross in our place to be the supreme sacrifice for sin.  He was buried in a tomb but rose again the third day, as the Scriptures foretold, and is now exalted as King of kings and Lord of lords.  As God manifested in the flesh, He is true God and true man; in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.  (Acts 10:38-40; I Corinthians 15:1-4; Colossians 2:9)

Holy Spirit

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service. Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. Given at Pentecost, it is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus after His Ascension, to empower the Church to preach the Gospel throughout the whole earth. (Joel 2:28-29; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5,2:1-4, 17, 38-39, 8:14-17, 10:38, 44-47, 11:15-17, 19:1-6)

Salvation

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts. For anyone to know God, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. The promised, foretold, personal and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our hope and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer. (John 6:44, 65; Matthew 19:28; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22)

Baptism

Water baptism by immersion is an act of obedience to God by a person who believes in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Through baptism in Jesus’ name a believer expresses his divorcement from his old sinful life and identifies himself as desiring to live a new life for Jesus.  His previous life of sin is actually buried with Christ in baptism. (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:4; Galatians 3:27; I Peter 3:21)
